We are cash renting some of our acres to an organic farmer for the first time ever next year. We are also interested in planting a couple acres of CBD for oil ourselves next year. The farmer informed us today that he is planning on using tropical hemp as a border crop around the fields to attract "good bugs". While we are familiar with CBD and fiber hemp, we have never heard of tropical hemp. Is anyone familiar with it and, in particular, do you know if male tropical hemp can pollinate female CBD plants? We are concerned that the tropical hemp might ruin the CBD hemp flowers.
