The IHGA can help identify and support opportunities for political action. The Illinois Stewardship Alliance has promoted hemp politically, the IHGA promotes hemp politically, there is an Illinois Hemp Industries Association that also takes aim at influencing policy. Often times, what to me seems to influence hemp policy the most is lobbyists from the medical/adult use cannabis industry.
