Hi If anyone is interested hemps uses in construction or planning growing hemp for fiber and hurd/shiv I welcome you getting in touch. On occasions I have looked into discussions on this forum, but my primary interest in hemp is using it for construction purposes so I have not participated as I know very little about the varieties of hemp grown for their cannabinoid content, nor do I know anything about extracting the cannabinoids from the plant. My focus for several years now has been hemp in construction. I am based in DuPage County and one of the founder members of the US Hemp Builders Association (USHBA), more recently I have taken on the task of being the area lead for USHBA and in the not to distant future hope to develop an Illinois Chapter of USHBA.
