The 2025 UIUC Hemp Research Open House is quickly approaching and that means its time to dive into the latest and greatest in hemp!
Join us on Friday, July 25th from 9-3pm at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana for education, field tours, booths, lunch, raffles, networking, and great photo opportunities. This is your chance to get your hands on some plants and to learn and ask questions from university and industry experts.
This year marks the 4th year of the IHGA sponsoring this event and Dr. Lee's hemp research at UIUC. We are proud to support this important contribution to the future of the American hemp industry.
What topics will we cover?

● Hemp Breeding – Hybrid Development with Dr. Rich Fletcher of New West Genetics
● Hemp Rules and Future Opportunities with Ms. Rachel Berry

● Hemp Agronomy with Mr. Alex Luis ... AND Bish Enterprises will be back this year providing a hemp fiber decortication demonstration!

Following the open house we encourage participants and IHGA members to join us for more in-depth Illinois/federal hemp regulatory + community updates and networking.
We will be meeting up at Riggs Beer Co. in Urbana from 6-8. You are welcome to stop and grab light food or snacks to eat at the venue before you head over but there will be food trucks ready and waiting (Mexican and German food are on the schedule right now!)
